Wood colors not right

I ordered an 8 foot rod recently and I noted that the color didn't seem quite right. It didn't look like either the Heritage Oak or Mahogany. I ordered some rings and end caps and those match the heritage oak pictures alright. But all together it looks like a awful mess, wish I hadn't bought any of it at this point. Save your money go else where. The shipping wasn't bad on these, but the shipping was awful on the rod.
